Anima and animus belong to the theory of the collective unconscious, which was described by Carl Jung’s school of analytical psychology. According to Jung, the anima is the unconscious feminine aspect of a man, and the animus is the unconscious element of a man in a woman.

Choreography is a journey through our mind and body. It asks questions: can we confine identity to a specific framework? Do we stay honest with each other by identifying with a given idea?
