
Agnieszka Jachym is a dancer and choreographer who graduated from the Ballet Studio of Krakow Opera and the Ludomir Różycki State Ballet School in Bytom.
After receiving her professional dancer diploma in 2012, she participated in dance projects for Temporaere Theater in Berlin and Dresden. She also performed in No Sacre by Ismael Ivo during ImPulsTanz and in Sao Paulo.
From 2014 to 2017, she was a dancer in Stadttheater Giessen.
In 2018, she premiered her dance theater piece Getto krakowskie at Nowy Proxima Theatre. She also performed in solar storm by Johannes Wieland and the opera Alcina directed by Christof Loy at Staatsoper Hamburg.
She won the second prize for her solo performance of Naj at the International Dance Theaters Festival OPEN STAGE 2018. The work was presented at the Solo Dance Contest in Gdańsk in 2019, as well as during the 23rd International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin.
In 2019-2021, she worked as a dancer and coordinator of the EU project CLASH! When classic and contemporary dance collide and new forms emerge at the Polish Dance Theater. There, she collaborated with J. Kaźmierczak and Z. Kocięba to create a choreography [dis]solution for Balletto di Roma.
Starting in 2021, she has worked with Sasha Waltz & Guests on various projects such as In C, SYM-PHONIE MMXX, and Kreatur.
In 2022, she was awarded the Creative Scholarship of the City of Krakow to create her original dance theatre piece, The HUNGRY Ones, which premiered at the Łaźnia Nowa Theatre. She also received the Certificate to teach choreographic material for In C by Sasha Waltz.
In 2023, she performed in The Symphony of The Whispering Walls by Erion Kruja and The Flying Dutchman at the Baltic Opera Festival.
